A new world-wide record by the greater number of consumed jalapeños has settled down!
LOS ANGELES, CA -- Alfredo Hernandez of Los Angeles, CA is the great winner of the first prize that the La Costeña granted to the winner of the greater number of jalapeños consumed in a minute.
The contest took place Sunday, September 17 in Chicago where Hernandez consumed 17 jalapeños in a minute, breaking therefore the World-wide Record Guinness of 15 jalapeños. Mr. Alfredo competed against eight finalists of other cities from around the country.

LOS ANGELES, CA -- On the evening of July 23, 2006, a star-studded panel of judges chose Zuleyka Rivera, Miss Puerto Rico, as Miss Universe 2006.
