¡Hola! Arkansas celebrates 'Cinco de Mayo' with free community health fair
LITTLE ROCK, AR - - To celebrate “Cinco de Mayo” sponsors and exhibitors will be offering free information, free health screenings and free food while dancing to Mexican tunes at the 7th Annual of the “¡Hola! Arkansas Health & Safety Fair” at the College Station Clinic and City Center from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

"Cinco de Mayo" IS NOT Mexico’s Independence Day
Contrary to popular belief, "Cinco de Mayo" is not Mexico's Independence Day.
In fact, "Cinco de Mayo" (May 5) is actually a regional holiday in Mexico, with the celebrations primarily limited to the state of Puebla.
The connection to Puebla involves the true meaning of the holiday, which commemorates the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces on May 5, 1862.
