Elizabeth Taylor dies at 79

¡Hola! Arkansas Staff Writers

LOS ANGELES, CA - The actress Elizabeth Taylor, famous for its dazzling violet eyes, her eight marriages, and her brilliant film career, died Wednesday March 23, of congestive heart failure, said his agent in a statement.

"The legendary actress, entrepreneur and activist Elizabeth Taylor died peacefully at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles", the statement said. "She was surrounded by her children, Michael Wilding, Christopher Wilding, Maria Burton and Liza Todd," the note stated, adding that she was also survived by ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

"My mother was an extraordinary woman who lived life to the fullest, with passion, humor and love," said Wilding.
“Her remarkable body of work in film, her successful career as a businesswoman, and her tireless fight against HIV/AIDS, all make us incredibly proud of what she accomplished,” he added.

“We know that the world is a better place for Mom having lived in it”. “Her legacy will never fade, her spirit will always be with us, and her love will live forever in our hearts," Wilding concluded.

Taylor had been in hospital for six weeks due to heart problems, a condition with which she had struggled for some years, and had recently suffered complications, said a family statement.
