The Carnivale is complete when Dora crowns Baby Jaguar the king of the Animal Carnivale and all the animals show up to celebrate.
The animals appearing in Go, Diego, Go! are indigenous to Latin America and are seen in their authentic habitat, with featured animals including the chinchilla, sloth and condor. The show is also flavored with Spanish words, Latin American music, folktales and traditions, all giving the audience the opportunity to experience Diego’s culturally rich world.
The show’s beautiful sets, innovative puppetry and high-quality production value will be executed by a Broadway level creative team.
Richie Portela, a bilingual actor born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, plays the role of Diego. Richie received a BA of Fine Arts with a concentration in Acting.
Go Diego Go Live was created and is executive produced by Chris Gifford and Valerie Walsh, the same team behind the phenomenal hit show Dora the Explorer.
